For a few of the members here it's pretty obvious what their focus is from their posts (phoenix, rickieB) but I'd be interested to know what everyone's focus is at the moment. Are you trying to complete a set? If so what set is it, what condition etc etc. Also how many pieces do you need until that set's finished. I'm always interested to hear about other peoples interests. Whatever it is you collect, world, paper, errors, type, share what it is that's frustrating and thrilling you right now.

To get the ball rolling I'm currently working on a set of rosies, bu and proof from 46 to date. I only need 9 more to complete that. I have a couple of sets I've built mainly from circ but this is my first one in high grade and my first including proofs.

On the back burner I need 9 coins and 9 upgrades for my wheat cents in nice high F / low VF to AU set. Once I get those I'll probably start from the end and work forwards upgrading to MS. I'm also about 5 coins away from an average circulated Franklin set (not paying more than melt) and working on a walking half set (not paying more than melt plus $1.50 or so. I have a 70% or 80% completed set of washington quarters in AU/BU that I add to when I see a really good deal but for the moment all else is waiting til I finish the rosies :)

My CT handle and avatar let you know what I'm building and under my username it says how close I am. Been working on this set for awhile, MS63 and higher. Thinking I'd like to try a set of Walkers but we'll see what happens when I get the pasture full of bison, lol.

Hmm - perpetual sets of Large Cents, Indian Cents, Shield Nickels, Draped Bust Halves, Caped Bust Halves. Not sure if I will ever truly complete one of those sets. And the grades are all over the place. I also have various other odds and ends that strike my fancy.

I don't spend a lot of time foccusing on a single set...more like completing every set of US coins one at a time in a never-ending manner. But, I do seem to buy a bit more Morgans. I only need 12 more to complete that set of AU business strikes. There are a few, unfortunately, that I don't look forward to buying, but most have been fairly easy to locate over the past 20 years. I'm in no hurry.

    Well, let's see...

    - I'm a little upset over the high price of coins
    - I'm still trying to figure out what to collect for my one-coin-coin-collection
    - I'm a little upset over the high price of coins
    - I'm looking for a suitable capped bust half to buy because I don't have one
    - I'm a little upset over the high price of coins
    - I'm always on the lookout for bargains
    - I'm a little upset over the high price of coins

    That's about it.

I try to focus on my Lincolns and have several complete sets, but I am trying to build a set of cents all the way to 1793, and recently sold a bunch of the better early large cents to improve "cashflow"

My Indian cent set is missing only a cpl tougher dates and the 2 keys

I have a Dansco 7070 with a bunch of holes in it, I'm going to need help from the type guys on this

I add to my Toned BU Roosy set when the right coin pops up at the right time

I also collect guitars, and have more than 20 Gibsons, Martins and Fenders mostly...see my profile pic

I have a pretty nice collection of Ronald Reagan items, way back to his actor days

Focusing on Gem UNC Franklins, early Roosevelts, Jeffersons and Lincolns. Always looking for BU Peace Dollars after '27. Search for 07 & 08 Buffalo bullion coins. PM me if you think you can help. Thanks.

If anyone has missed it, I go for the Lincolns - mostly wheats. My main set I hope to get all unc. Right now I am missing the S VDB (I have a set ready to trade for this one), 1914-D, and 1924-D. I do not yet have the 24-S, but I think I just won it tonight. I am also trying to get at least 1/2 of the 1934 - 1958 as certified 67. I need 3 more to reach that goal although my 34-D and 35-S are only 65's.
