I was born in 1947. I still have the hospital bill stored somewhere. It was about $80. Unfortunately, the combined value of both of your circulated coins is nowhere near that.

what advice are you looking for ?

I see one dirty nickel, and one cleaner nickel.
Nothing special other than they are older nickels .. although I'm no nickel expert.

1947 S: Well, the San Fran. Mint produced almost 25 million. Although yours is in nice condition for a circulated coin, if in XF condition (which yours does not appear to be) it's worth less than $1.

1959: the Phila. Mint produced just over 28 million. The same applies. Now, if it were fully struck, with 5-full steps, you might really have something of value.

Both coins would be nice to possess, but not valuable.

Keep up the hunt. Use these to start a $.05 coin book!

OP please understand that just because a coin is old doesn't mean its worth a lot. These nickels are worth face value each, nothing special about them

I, too, was born in 1947 in Aiea Heights, Honolulu, Hawaii. My father was in the Navy during WW II..a submariner. Anyway, I like to collect 1947 dated coins, but I only trade or buy pristine coins. I even have some from NGC and PCGS. It's a lot of fun to collect a specific date, but at some time, I'll have to quit. Best of luck.
