I think I just found a 1973S DDO1.....according to Variety Vista it looks to have the right credentials. I cant find much on it tbh. I apologize for the picture quality...note the notching in the middle stem of the 3. .both ends of the 1 ..and the T Y in liberty, they are spot on imo.
Ok, Meow can a see that, very nice. But Meow cant seem to find them CRH. Meow might be missing them, as they are very subtle.
I do not think so. The letters I can see do not have the inward enlargement, but the DDO-001 on VV is a proof, which this one appears to be a business strike from photos. Jim
Yes meow, but notice that each part is about half the thickness on the rest of the number, a sure sign of MD which the mm seems to show ( need better photo) also. A true DD of this double squeeze era would show a thickness of original size +additional thickness representing the overlap, MD divides up the original in some ratio. Hard to see in small photos. IMO, best I can see , Jim
Liberty shows thickness of original size and also has quite noticable notching on the devices. I am on my way to the lab to get better photos,I'm all riled up about this coin today,it made my heart drop when I saw it under the loop...my photos do no justice
I may just send this one in to be looked at...my phone shots are too grainy, microscope is too much light,I'm bout to flip a table, lol im setting it aside for now
There is MD on there, sure, but that split in the middle of the 3 appears to be quite thick and separated from the original. This is the best image I could capture
The coin is hired! credentials a qualification, achievement, personal quality, or aspect of a person's background, typically when used to indicate that they are suitable for something.
