Is this 1970 d penny a real error or faked

    Looks like a coin was pressed into it,hence the backwards txt. It looks neat tho,unfortunately this is not a mint error imho

    looks like it was sandwiched.
    If you took another cent, and positioned the reverse like the impressions on the reverse.

    On the obverse you can see the rim of another cent was there but offset as the rim pushed in along the left side.

    The vice wasn't consistent pressure across the entire wide but just on one side. Thus the impressions on the edge being heaviest, and lighter as you moved more towards the center.

    All of the letters are not raised and they are backwards, this shows they were put in a vase with another coin creating the effect you see. The coin is damaged but worth one cent.

    I mispelled it too.
    I did "vice" .. which is the police
    you did "vase" .. which is for flowers
    it's "vise" for a clamping vise device.
