I have a collection to have graded, none of which ive posted here because i dont want to stir up the basket cases. Lol Im thinking of including this one when i do.
Im thinking of having these "cuff links" graded. They have a nice tone! Dare i say cameo? I doubt it but they are shinier than they appear in the pictures. They were literally made into cuff links. No holes though. Just solder. Thats whats on the center of the reverse. I heated the added pieces to remove them, and tried not to heat the coins. One has a nice die crack. I think that once the best i have are graded, i'll post them. I dont want to hear from the peanut gallery. And want to rub it in, and make them more jealous, once graded. They make it such a competition. Ill play their game and make them cry. Lol Fyi, like many others, i was "greeted" rudely, and trolled, by some of the low-brows on here. They say "its what i say" but cant explain why, and if you try to have a scholarly discussion they cry that you're not listening. Listening to what? They dont say anything knowledgeable. Hahaha. So, i dont always look at my replies...
I stand up to bullies. Yes. Only be offended if you are one of the trolls who talk down to everyone else to try and increase self esteem. They truly show that "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". Too many here have mistaken my remarks toward these narrow minded people as something else. If you walk upon a group of bullies getting their asses kicked. Do you say to the ass kicker, "is this how you always behave"?
I agree with "collecting nut". Regardless what you do to try to remove the solder, there will still be a film of lead/tin on the coin. The Obverses have also been cleaned. The best you can hope for is an AU details, but it would probably be body-bagged.
I think that the OP ran out of disparaging words to thrust at any opinion different than his own. Maybe he should be a politician.
