Good luck. Your odds are better for winning powerball while being struck by lightening. I'm not joking either.
FYI - There is no small date 1983D. Just a copper 83. There is however a small date 82D copper.

82D is what I meant. I get the two confused sometimes. So many dates and little things to learn! And I know it but I have high hopes of finding one and if I never find one of them I still enjoyed looking! Found a few cool things so far. Even if its worth nothing still cool to me. I did happen to find a 2000 wide AM. That was great! Thanks for the help!! Seriously thank you!!

Not trying to pick a fight or argue with you because your not the first to do this. (Correct someone for using the word penny). My objection is that no one is corrected for using the word nickel. I don't think the US Mint ever produced a coin with the word "nickel" on it yet nobody corrects someone for using that term. All of the US coins had "Half Dime", "V", "Five cents" on them. Everyone, including myself, uses the term nickel. Peace! :)

I know, you're right. It's really no big deal. We all know what the "penny" guys and gals are saying and referring it. I shouldn't be so picky!

What does a 1967 proof cent look like? I have a lot of them but I only have one that's super shiny and just pretty.

I guess I know the look. How do I tell the difference in a normal one and a proof is more the question.

You just dont have anything better to do? I'm not understanding why you only come to make fun of people? Could I ask a question without you trying to make yourself feel better please? When I ask a question I'm trying to learn. Is there something wrong with that buddy?

IMO it doesn't look like it came from the set. It looks like a circulation strike.
