Double die obverse and reverse. Double ear obverse. Reverse double trees left of bear, die chip fish mouth and bear claw extra.
Is that the normal 2008 quarter design? It looks different from every other 2008 that I've seen of that year and surrounding years. The area between the ear and hair should be a space and nothing connecting them together.
That looks like a die clash under the ear. That's pretty cool, you don't see that very often. Meow notices that the Mint really over works them dies to make State and ATB quarters. But they seem very good at not having too many die clashes. Meow finds a bunch of die clashes on older clad issues all the time. But not many at all in the newer quarters.
Oh, after looking at it at bit harder; Meow think it actually looks like a Doubled Die. The ear and cheek look doubled to Meow.
