1967 Quarter Possible Error.

    Sorry but I do not see any hub doubling on this coin, not even machine doubling. Could you be a bit more specific as to where you might see this?

    Possibly a little mechanical doubling but not a true doubled die. But wait for some of the others for more answers.

    Other than the scratching and gouging from aggressive use of a coin rolling machine (the scratches in a circular position) and ripping to shreds the IGWT, I see Mechanical Doubling on IGWT as the extra is flat and shelf like - more easily seen on the top right of D W and R
