Well it's not a Henning nickel and it's definitely not a P over a D but it has some silver. so that's good enough to keep it! :D

If you would pick up a book ,open it, and research what you're saying ......as there no varieties for an 1943 P over D nickel. No such thing!
The more you post ....stupid stuff like this thread the more you're going to see replies like this one!
No one here is trying to make you look dumb as you're doing a fine job by your self.

Ok. As a complete newbie to coins, i'm going to venture in and tell you what I see. In the close up of the mint mark, (first picture) if you look to the left of the P I see what appears to be a faint outline of a bell (or half a bell). I'm not convinced the D above the P is a mint mark. If it was a war nickel struck on a non war nickel, the D mint mark would be on the obverse and not the reverse of a non war nickel, making it unlikely the D would show up above the P on a war nickel, so the placement doesn't look right. There is another mark on the outside descending edge of P which also looks like a D, so that makes me doubtful either is actually a D.
The date is interesting. I don't have a 1943 nickel to compare it to, but the 3 looks funky indeed. But I would think that if there was a 2 under the 3 , more of it would show along the bottom of the 3, I'm not sure if the 3 on a War nickel has the strange top like yours since I have nothing to compare it to in hand.
So as a newbie I would try to do as much research as I could, if I was STILL convinced it was a rare anomaly I might consider sending it to a TPG to see how it would be graded if at all. But i'm just a newbie, so take the above for what it's worth, probably nothing! LOL
