    I got it from John Markis / Trusted Traditions out of So. Florida. Can't remember if it was off of eBay or from his mailing list.

    I thought for sure the wife was going to kill me when I bought it....but she's a pretty smart cookie. Her comment was, "A bill that beautiful and old and in such nice shape ought to be a good investment."

    Can't argue with that logic.

    A nice note and a VERY NICE wife! :D My wife is almost as nice. :whistle: The only difference is when purchasing an expensive note, she likes to come along, so I don't buy too many. :cool:

    One of the few notes I have seen where the obverse and reverse are both very appealing. Good find.

    The "sister" to the '96 $2 SC is this guy. The face isn't quite as somber as the scan picked it up, but it isn't quite as snappy as the '96 $2

    Beautiful notes!! The Mechs and Agg note is on my list for this year as well...3.5K in that condition..
    Again..beauties for sure!!

    Thanks for sharing them!! Can't wait to get that note as well. The Battleship is a glorious note..I am lucky enough to have this in (New York Issued )PCGS 64 ...the pinnacle of my collection thus far!! Beautiful, Beautiful and Beautiful!!!
