1969 , 1 Centavo ,Doubling Error

    1969, Colombia 1 centavo coin. I think this is a Doubling Error, But I am not sure. Cheryl

    I suspect it's a repunched "9".
    Looks like the "1" is too.

    That does really look like a repunched date on the 9 and 1, that 9 is extreme. Nice coin.

    On these Colombian 1 centavo coins it's hard NOT to find a repunched date. Some show drastic separation.

    more common than others, but none-the-less a nice find and a keeper, even if the price of your coin does not hit 1 million dollars it is still a nice addition too a collection.

    As Mike said, a repunched date (numeral) not a 'double punch coin'.
