Guess the toning

    Not much, wouldn't make it worth anymore money than a regular one in my eyes. If it's a toner, it has to have some colors to it or it doesn't interest me. In short, I don't see any toning. In hand maybe you see more than in the pics, idk. Nice grade and nice coin, just not my cup of tea and not my series. peace.gif

    The toning looks 2 shades darker than a nice gun metal blue/gray.

    I'm going to go with 'better than expected'....those security slab shots are often kind of horrible. That said, they serve their purpose and leave room. I'm going to go with nice luster underneath some darker toning, heavier at the periphery. Maybe a shade darker than 'mellow'. :D

    All coins made of metal will tone under the right conditions.

    I would hope that it has 2nd and 3rd cycle toning. according to the chart below.
