Thank you on both counts. I had a look at my other Belgian coins and found another doubling. Again, a five centime piece, but from 1913. Also again, it's looks like only the "3" shows the effect. Having found 2 in the space of an hour, I'm starting to wonder if this was a somewhat common problem with this series?
