I posted on here before and I get a lot of responses from the same shall I say haters out there again and I will show you a 1988 Philly double die double earlobe to the South very difficult to spot but because of the high grade that this will grade out as you can definitely see it I would appreciate all the negativity from specifically one individual to not post any negative comments it gets a little bit sick and yes to your question I do have a lot of time to search find and well I hit the jackpot baby have a great night
Could you explain to Meow what characteristic makes this a double die? Meow has found 3 shield pennies of different years with a non-MD looking little lump behind his earlobe. It really looks like doubling found in state and ATB quarters. But no one seems convinced.
Well no one has to, do u watch YouTube at all?....so negative, do see the love? If u go to YouTube and study that itll broaden ur mind
Yes, please look up 1988 penny...see people here are so negative and I trust the people on YouTube like coin IP, silver hinter, couch colectables, etc before the people here.everyone is negative always, really dont know much. And jealous if someone has a good coin....1988 penny YouTube ull see
Humm, OK watched it. Meow could not give you an opinion, your pics are a little too blurry to see the issue clearly. You should post better pics if you can.
I did. And these pics surely display to the south the extra earlobe. Extremely hard to see it, but like the pics show it's there. With this extremely rare error and the high grade that this coin will get after being slabbed,i believe this will easily bring 5 figures at aution... as puddyman....lol would say I must hv a lot of time on my hands and i guess i spend my time wisely and ot surely is fina be all worth it.
OK if you have compared it to other 1988s, and they look different; Maybe there is something there. Good luck on the grading. Would you please let us know the results, good or bad?
Here is a positive post. Ok so maybe you found one. Just stop calling us haters and please create threads with a better attitude. There is no need for so much negativity.
I think you ought to take a step back and ask yourself question: why are all these YouTube “gurus” are so positive and enthusiastic? Why are they proclaiming all these finds worth so much money? Why is every coin they discuss worth tens of thousands of dollars? And more importantly, why don’t the folks here act the same way? I have a proposal for you to consider: we don’t get paid based on the number of views and likes we get. We don’t have to lie and promise you something, because it doesn’t benefit us. Those who make those videos profit from viewers convinced of their claims. Think modern day snake oil salesman. The knowledge we have and share is free. Our perceived negativity likely comes from folks who get duped by YouTube videos who think that simply because we are negative (ad hominem fallacy), and do not agree with their opinion, that we are the ones lacking knowledge. Your coin does not display any ear doubling. Even so, your photos need work. A simple solution is to put your 10x loupe in front of the camera on your phone and snap a photo under good lighting. If you don’t have a 10x loupe, then you’re wasting your time searching for errors.
If your "friends" on BoobTube are so smart, why don't you stay there? As a matter of fact, why don't you sell your lousy 5-figure coin to one of them? Chris
Wow. Amazing. Fantastic. One of a Kind. Is not what this coin is. Also, OP's language is strikingly similar to another "stable genius" who likes to post on here. Not accusing them of being one and the same...Just making an observation.
