And the military just keeps dumping on me and making my life hell. Even though I'm close to retirement.

It's hard when they keep shoving it back underwater. After 17+ years, I'm sick and tired of it.

Yeah tuff on you. God bless you. It's confronting to know that those that serve GOT OUR BACKS. Us gals know who the real men are. We look up to you. A gentleman 2 weeks ago. Wore his uniform in church. He got mauled with thanks after mass.

Do they still have to pay your way back to the states?

I would go to Tokyo for the summer Olympics. Or Scotland

They would pay my way back to my place of enlistment. They would send me to Nebraska. I and my family have set up a life in Maryland. We own a home, are part of the community, want to stay here after retirement. Would have to give all that up and move half way across the world for less than 2 years.

    $100 in quarters and nothing. I did find 6 2019 D quarters. :) No W's.

Do your best to hang on and get your 20 years. Spending another 2 years in a foreign country is relatively short given the 20-year retirement is at the end of the rainbow. I am confident you can do it. After you retire you can more easily make time to search US coins.

I forgot to mention that Monday while in my neighboring town, one of my tellers had saved $100 in Ikes for me. I searched them last night, no silvers. Most were in decent shape (AU), so I will upgrade my duplicates. I have at least a tube for each year & mintmark in case the Grands want to build albums some day. I did not find any 1971-D "Friendly Eagles" (I have only found one ever). Nor did I find my first 1972 Variety 2 (dang those are hard to find!). I did find (12) 1976-D Variety 1 (bold font on reverse), and (1) 1976 Variety 1. I'm happy with the haul. Most will be kept, some will be handed out as tips so I can enjoy the waitresses confused looks, lol.

    Here’s one of the 1976-D Variety 1.

I've found 3 72P T2s in about $800 Ikes that I've managed to get my hands on. Almost all of them in a couple month time span.

Wish I could find one in the Wild. I paid $120 for my 72 Type 2 in a PCGS MS64 holder. Wasn't a bad price.
