I have what I believe to be a 1996 mint error penny that was struck a total of 4 times I was wondering if anyone would know the value of this coin
Looks like dry adhesive. There were 2 other Cents attached to your Cent. Not multiple struck but images from the other Cents left on the glue. Value? still 1 Cent
After soaking it in nail polish remover for around 45-60 minutes only the back side got the glue removed and not the front side I think that the front side is actually copper material and not glue because you can definitely tell that back side was glue and you can kind of fell it but on the front side it feels like copper
No, it is still some sort of adhesive. May be something not affected by the nail polish remover. Definitely not an error.
Front side could be a vise impression of two cents, reverse side a glue impression. all 3 sandwiched together for the glue to dry. and actually was probably vise grips, because the impression is strongest at the 7-8 o clock position. probably 4 cents total with the two outer ones just so the cents don't get stuck to the tool and make dad angry again. LOL. If it were struck at the mint, it wouldn't be backwards.
