(Still Learning)2011 Roosevelt Dime

    Finally im back 2 posting...My USB microscope went dead...so hopefully these pics show up ok w/a micro lens adapter on my phone.
    Well found this 2011 Roosevelt dime and pretty sure its PMD but would love help learning what kind of damage this is and how it happens. I see it quite abit not as much as this but any help would b appreciated...thanks and Happy Hunting✌... incase anybody would like to knw these were customer rolls i get from a bank that gets them from a continent store every 2weeks.

    Looks like the edge of another dime impacted the coin severely

    Sure does look that was to Meow too. Also has coin wrapper machine damage.

    Good question but 2 different answers. Some PMD - Post Mint Damage is easy to explain. Some others not. In the case of your Dime I agree that it looks like it took a hit from another reeded coin. but only the person who did it would know how it was done. Maybe they were just fooling around to see what kind of effect it would have in doing so.
