1944 Washington

is there doubling on this ‘44?

I believe it is around Washington’s head and then around the eagle’s wings, beak and head?

Or are my eyes playing jokes on me?

Based on the condition of the coin, I don't think it matters.

Based on the condition and pictures, I don't see it. It also looks like it's been heavily cleaned. Still, any silver coin is a good silver coin!

 

I don’t know about cleaning since I found it metal detecting this morning. It was about 7 inches down.

 

It looks to me like it could use another cleaning.

 

Really? 7 inches down? I'd say very good condition for being down 7 inches.
