If anybody really believes they can buy a 6-figure coin for $36 - from a moroccan eBay seller with 0 feedback - then that’s a lesson they should learn.

I am betting it was taken down. It did work a few minutes ago. It was for a hideous $36.00 flowing hair dollar toy. Wasn’t even good enough to call counterfeit. And the wording on the ad was deceptive. As though it was meant to be translated poorly and leave the reader wondering. Something like, “It is real? Then call me”.... It was nonsensical really.

Wonderful to see that either eBay pulled the site or the seller sellers seen your thread what ever it seemed to work . Thanks for policing our hobby , and if you did , or who ever reported these people , Good for you . Dillan

I would have thought that ebay should be avoided in general. How many of the fakes identified on this site come from ebay?

Not all dealers on eBay are selling fakes and ripping people off. There are good people and some decent buys on eBay . First you have to know who your dealing with , I always look at the sellers track record and if he has more the 2 un happy people that is a red flag for me. I used to sell on eBay for approx. 3 years and did very well . I had a good following of customers and treated everyone the same. I would intentionally under grade my coins so the buyers would get a decent deal . The reason I quit was that eBay was not policing the scammers and they cared way to much for the buyers and did not put the same effort towards their sellers. I enjoyed the people I came into contact with , and still do the odd deal with some. So not everyone is out to take advantage of people . You have to be vigilant and know what your buying . First find someone you can trust even if their coins a little higher in price . This was you have the satisfaction of knowing that your money gets you want you want.. Dillan

All you gotta do is submit that for NGC expert review, they'll tell you that it is most likely fake!

Even as a relative novice, I can see the picture is fake and for $36... caveat emptor :)
