Any red flags on this Siliqua before I buy?

I have been seeking to purchase a late Roman silver coin for some time now. A Siliqua seems to be the only option without breaking the bank.

What are peoples thoughts on this one? Any red flags? I've done a acsearch, and the style seems to be fine (noting that late Roman silver is of poor quality). Seller is one I've used before.

Mmmmm, I hope we have a dealer advertising his wares here because if they are not the same specimen, they definitely are fake. This is why some of us believe we should not post coins still on the market or auctions not yet closed.

Congrats on owning a piece of Late Roman silver. Those siliquae are pretty fun little coins to own.

    Here's my siliqua of Valens

This is why I tried to avoid precise details on this coin and which dealer.

But yes, it is the same dealer/coin; so no, this does not speak to its authenticity.

    Wow, what a stunning Siliqua!

Mine is more entry level :)

Oh please, don't be so modest. You got yourself a very respectable and interesting siliqua. I know I'd definitely be happy having it in my collection. That was a good purchase, and I hope it brings you pleasure for a long time to come.

Also, I think you got it at a nice price for the condition. A solid purchase all around.
