I've never sent coins to ANACS before....but am about to send out my high grade beautifully toned 1909 Matte Proof Lincoln Cent to them for slabbing....

Since it turned out that I have the far more scarce reverse die 2, I was wondering if ANACS would slab it with that on the holder for me if I ask them too?

Do you think they will? Any advice?

I think they're open tomorrow. I'll call them and let you know. Are you going to be around? Here's their customer service info if you want to try yourself:

Sure they will,if it's legit I think they will put any details you want on it for a small fee.

Yeah but I have no usb scope so it will have to be with my iPhone. And taking pictures of coins is very hard for me, and then being a matte proof too on top of that? Not so easy.....lol

Those photos are of no help. not trying to be rude but they need to be taken out of the plastic baggy. Maybe you are completely confident in your attribution in that case send it off, but if you aren't there is no need to waste the money.

ANACS will do this but remember, there is a character space limitation. So be as descriptive as possible w/o going overboard.

    Yes, I am absolutely certain.

This wasn't a post to get justification or verification....

Someone just asked to see a pic....

Absolutely! My personal guess is PR65RB "TYPE 2".....but that is simply a guess.

iPhone pictures will be sufficient for us to supply second opinions on attribution but if you want to give those a go it has to be taken out of the bag.

Oh, I didn't see you don't want those. OK, then let us know how you make out on it...

From the pictures I see, it doesn't look like a MP.

Doesn’t look like a proof rim in those pictures. Would need better shots.

    It's not a matte proof.
