1990 P Washington Quarter Die chip & doubling or die wear on United??

    I would think die deterioration at United but there is a minor crack forming on the left wing. The right wing has a die crack following the wing to the chip. All signs of a deteriorating die.

    Thanks! I dont think i see the crack forming on the left wing.. what part should i look at to see it?

    The left part of the left wing along the edge. It's there but it is slight. The one on the right is more pronounced. The 80's-90's were well known for cracks, mostly on the left but also on the right wings.

    Same here and your coin is a great example of a nice chip along with the beginning of another chip.
