1983 D? Hallow hole?

    I was looking through some pennies for a 1983 worth some money and found this strange one.. I think its a D but the D isn't there, it's a hallow hole. Help, could this be worth something??

    Your coin is a Denver mint coin but it has some zinc rot that is coming up through the mintmark. It is damaged.

    Hallow vs. hollow
    To hallow is to make holy or honor greatly. Hollow is primarily an adjective meaning (1) having space inside, or (2) lacking weight or substance.
