I was looking through some pennies for a 1983 worth some money and found this strange one.. I think its a D but the D isn't there, it's a hallow hole. Help, could this be worth something??
Your coin is a Denver mint coin but it has some zinc rot that is coming up through the mintmark. It is damaged.
Just 1 cent Hallow vs. hollow To hallow is to make holy or honor greatly. Hollow is primarily an adjective meaning (1) having space inside, or (2) lacking weight or substance.
