Hey Everyone. So I was looking through my change before taking to the bank and this caught my eye. It's a 1972 D Quarter with reverse doubling. Any info as to how common these are and what the value might be would be appreciated. The pictures arnt the best but its definitely DD

Like stated in the post, the pictures aren't great. Its absolutely not Mint Doubling. I've been collecting for 30 years and know the difference very well. As I do appreciate your opinion, this posting is an inquiry as to the scarcity and value of this particular year and said error, not for authentication purposes.

Well that's not a nice way to introduce yourself to the site now is it?
One would think that after 30 years you would've learned a thing or two but I suppose not.

    Here you go
    https://doubleddie.com/144801.html
The above link is to Wexler.
It defines what worthless doubling is.
Use this to your advantage so that after 30 years you can indetify what a true DDO or DDR is.

Your quarter is nothing more than MD and DDD. (Die deterioration doubling.)

By the way your post has been reported.
This is a family friendly site.
Your statement is not needed here.
