I got 20190716_073848.jpg 20190716_073848.jpg two 1967 Quarters from work and noticed that on one of them the "1" was misshapen at the base near the rim and the bottom of the "9" is cut off. I was curious if this was an error and if so is it a uncommon find?

Looks like PMD to me. I've seen many worn coins with smeared and flattened features.

Welcome to CT. The coin looks worn from circulation so the numbers are wearing into the rim. Very common.

    Also, coins aren't "printed".

Correct, coins are minted. Paper money is printed.
