I plan on going. Should be there from Wednesday afternoon to Sat AM, probably leave early. Anyone else going?
Will it basically be the same format as the CSNS show? And, can I bring my own coins to trade/sell to help fund purchases?
Typically, it is bigger than CSNS. I like it a little better because of all of the educational programs. You can absolutely bring stuff to sell or trade.
I'm going. I'm actually on the waiting list to set up a table as well. Be nice if I could share a table and split the cost with someone, but at this point I'll take what I can get.
I'll be there Thursday through Saturday, doing photography at table 1711 and giving a talk about the insight one can gain from studying die varieties on Thursday afternoon at 4.
The Chicago Coin Club is the host club and we are celebrating our 100 year anniversary this year! Check the show schedule- we will be meeting on Saturday afternoon and all are welcome. Nick W
I was in Chicago recently and by chance walked past Harlan J Berk coin shop on Clark St. Looked like a cool coin shop - anyone ever been in there? I walked past at about 6:30am so they were closed.
Never been to his store, but I would happily recommend them either as on-line dealers of collector grade material or at a show. https://www.hjbltd.com/#!/
I've been there. They're a legitimate, respected coin shop. They have some of everything. Strangely as far as I know it's the only coin shop in Chicago. Meanwhile, South Bend, Indiana has four.
