Look at the right hand ledge of the tower on the bottom coin. There is a big blob there. Could this be a die chip?
A what? Where? Somebody circle it so we can see what you're seeing, because it isn't immediately obvious to me. Die chips are extremely common, and not worth a premium unless they are huge and obvious.
The top quarter is a regular quarter. The bottom photo is the one with the chip. The chip is on the right hand ledge of the tower. If you expand the picture you will see it.
I see 5 protrusions inexplicably arising from the spinning wheel. This design is completely incomprehensible to me. Which one are you referring to as "the tower"?
Okay, now that I see what you are talking about.... this is a very small die chip. It is not significant, and will not garner a premium. Die chips are extremely common.
From where I sit, it's right click on an image, I save it to my desk top, I open it from my desk to. You should/might see something like this: Click on the image for arrows. After you create the arrow or whatever symbol you want, don't forget to save it.
Thank you for your input Physics Fan! This is the first Die chip I have found , so it's a special thing for this newbie! will go in a holder and into the collection!
