I was hoping someone could give me their opinion on this quarter. In a couple of spots it looks like there might actually be extra letters and images in certain spots. I am adding the best pictures I could get.
The obverse of your coin shows severe die deterioration which might give the effect of seeing something else there. Trust me, there would be no extra letters or numerals as every die is inspected before it is put into use. Although it would be possible to add them after it left the mint, it would be considered damage.
