Yea,I've read all the opinions thoroughly and am aware of that. I would be a fool to just accept an opinion at face value. The majority seem to think otherwise, and it's still up in the air as far as I'm concerned.I personally am depending on you guys to figure it out,I just dont have the knowledge to determine what they are.Which ones would you prefer to see? I'd be glad to post anything you'd like. Lmk

Seems to me you should have paid a reasonable, if on the low side, wholesale price for the lot. Otherwise you're just ripping him off.

Look,I took a shot in the dark on them,I dont even collect quarters or know the values on them. If you read the thread you will see that i offered him more.
    If anything,I was cherrypicking,not ripping him off,ffs

This statement from this member ends the debate. Period. You can most certainly take his word for it. He knows things...... many things.

I'm not singling anyone out,I know who is reputable, and I'm not saying hes wrong....I consider all opinions, and appreciate them. Anyone elce have smart ass comments? I'm here all day. I've done nothing but be nice and respectful in search of a conclusion, now I'm starting to get sour.

This is why I said what I said. You don't have to waste any more time thinking about it. Seriously, I'm just trying to help.

My apologies! I entirely missed page 2 of this thread.

Yes, those 32 D and S coins are definitely fakes.

Having someone look at them for you is a good idea.

    Good luck

@ Islander80-30, Just saying I have seen coins that wore and took a hit like the one above and has disfigured the mint mark. If you notice the number below the s a bit to the left there is a fairly deep cut in the so it may be possible that it is from wear and damage.

We all have opinions , I sure would like to see the member with the quarters send the important ones in to a grader and have them authenticated . If you do please let us know . I for one think those are the real deal , and I and rooting for you to have found a great deal . This has been a back and forth post . As soon as someone gets a great deal on a coin that is usually high priced then automatically it is called a fake by some. I can understand why , and I am not discounting that they very well could be . I just like looking on the brighter side , and keep positive until I know different for sure.

A lot of them look very fake. The dates the portrait and the patina.
If any of them are silver you are OK.

The 64s were tested by a reputable jeweler in my area and are indeed real silver(real quarter, idk, but silver, yes).I didnt wanna acid test any of the others just incase I end up damaging a legitimate coin. I am arranging to have the key dates sent off,I will keep everyone in the loop.

Like I said if some of the coins are silver you are fine.
But those rare dates and other old ones don't even look like silver.
