I don’t even consider buying a coin when the photos are shot at an angle like this.

Ugly coin. Certainly not worth a premium. Uncertified toned Peace dollars are a risky buy.

Although some toning may be "OK", I never let toning be a positive factor in my coin acquisitions; it has, however, been a negative/preventive in my acquisitions. A little may be OK, but if it becomes a focal point (in my eyes), I don't want it (no matter the "grade").:cool::rolleyes::cigar::cigar::cigar:

Btw, the coin in question would NOT be in my collection. :D:D:D

I see it listed at $149. cough, cough. EBay is transmogrifying into Etsy.

Just saying, not all of them are, straight on shots are provided as well.

That said, to answer the OP's question, it looks like natural toning to me. But I find it very unattractive. That of course is a chocolate and vanilla thing.

My first thought was that someone took a whiz on it, so I agree with Chris.

Whether it is AT or NT is not as important as to whether anyone would consider it attractive enough to buy. ANYONE I know would just say... yuuck!

I disagree with everyone. Looks like a naturally toned AU55 or 58 to me. I like the colors. Not an "out of this world price," but being a naturally toned Peace Dollar means it is worth a premium on the market, even if CT members say it isn't to them, personally. IMO it's market value (what it would auction for) is $50-$75.

    That's not a premium. That's a joke.
