I was at the bank today and the teller had $150 woth of two dollar bills. So I had to get them all. had some good sequences.

    They are series 2003 D00741801A thru D00741824 and D00741851 thru 00741900

24 in a row and 49 in a row. I know it isn't hard to get sequntial bills but I thought I would share because this is the most in a row of twos I've seen. Now, is it worth saving them. Or just enjoy them for a bit spend em?

It is worth saving the stars, if any, and the interesting serial numbers. Have you found any interesting ones? From the numbers, nothing really sticks out at me. Whast condition are most in?

nothing really interesting. I grabbed them all because I couldn't figure the serial numbers in my head at the bank. they are all brand new and crisp. 00741900 is kinda cool so is 00741874 and 00741818

Are you sure about the Series?? All Series 2003 except for Minneapolis were Star notes. Minneapolis produced 121.600.000 notes out of the FW facility I-A-I-B (FW) as well as star notes.

The Suffix letter you are giving appear to be Series 2003A Notes. The letter "D" represents Cleveland and there were 19,200,00 notes printed. In Gem they can draw between 10-15 each!!

    I would keep them...

Thanks for the info on the price. I have been searching around but can't seem to locate anyone selling these currently on the internet. I plan on holding them for a bit. I will have to get some holders, because I dont think they will fit in my 2x2's

I ought to get some more $2's from my bank lol... they have tons of crisp 2003A $2's in sequential order, as many as you can afford to take, for face value (all J, Kansas City). Don't have the cashflow to stock up on to many but maybe I should get at least $20 worth...

you 'should' be able to yes. it all depends on if the bank chooses to carry them. some banks dont.

looks like the KC notes have a low print numer. probably worth grabbing some.

Probably. Next payday I'll see if that bank still has some; can't imagine they're giving out too many (unless they've already had their reputation as one of the few banks in the area that carries fresh $2s spread around lol... not too many bother carrying them at all and most of the ones that actually have any just have whatever circulated notes customers turn in as deposits.)

Er from the looks of it none will be particularly rare, if the rarest will have more than 6 million printed...

I'd save any Atlanta star notes though lol...

Might get a few more 2's anyway just for the heck of it.
