I think the seller has read too many Beatle Bailey comic strips. :goof: He also probably thinks the Castaways are still stuck on that little island! Ribbit
Why is it the more worthless something is, the more a seller has to say to get you to buy it? http://cgi.ebay.fr/RARE-PIECE-AMERI...oryZ3440QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Ribbit
Because as you can see, this is eBay France. I would be more than happy to read about a French Prime Minister from Abraham Lincoln's time if it was posted on a listing of a French Coin. All this seller did was add some information that might give a little history to a young lad that does not know much about one of the highly esteemed presidents of the United States.
Not sure but I think I saw the same blanks being made in a washer factory. Some of those makes me really wonder if they are coins or washers without holes.
You'd think if someone is only selling one fairly new Lincoln Cent, they could at least get the date right. Right? Well, what would you think of a listing for one date (1972), that shows a picture of another date (1973), but then says what you are bidding on is a totally different date than the other two dates (1970)? http://cgi.ebay.de/Kursmuenze-One-Cent-USA-1972-Liberty_W0QQitemZ290220408308QQihZ019QQcategoryZ42727QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Ribbit Ps: It's in German. :kewl:
Ever wonder what Elvis would have looked like if he was born a female instead of a male and looked like the Morgan Dollar gal to boot? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260229649887&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=016 Ribbit Ps: This puts a whole new twist on "Hot Lips" Morgans.
