One of my favorite part of buying collections is the old books, folders and albums that come with the package. Here's a cpl of old Lincoln albums... Post your books and albums or literature !!!!!
Cool - once my batteries re-charge I have a copy of a 1973 blue book. I remember Dad bought one every year back then and I am not sure how I ended up with this one. The shame is my basement flooded and ruined the book, but I will try to get pictures.
Books hmmm... Bet I've got 100 coin related books in the house, but here are the ones I use and regularly keep at the office. Take Care Ben
I have both of those books Jack. Probably a few of each. Now I'm going to have to start digging and fire up the scanner.
Here we go - I was wrong it was a 1975 blue book and I also took a picture of a page on lincolns. Yeah blurry, but I could not hold still. The whitman folder was filled back in the 1970's by my father. Most of the coins came from my grandma's penny jars. We always got to keep any wheaties we found. My father had to buy a few of the coins to finish the album but I still remember how cool that was.
Here's a few and they have coins in them actually. NOT complete sets except the 2 Cents are only missing the 1873 proof only issue. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0006-7.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0005-8.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0004-9.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0003-13.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0002-16.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0001-18.jpg Might want to check the Paper Money forum later. I found a few cool notes while I was digging this out. I blame YOU Jack clembo
