Well...………..……..Cats do like boxes; Very much. And even more so, boxes that contain silver halves. But if two boxes contain one silver Kennedy half that weighs 12.57 grams, And one Cat can be in two boxes at the same time with them...…..Meow would still think this thread was completely irritating. And maybe even think this thread was completely irritating while being in two boxes simultaneously, with Halves or no halves that weight 12.57 grams more or less. The reality would be that Meow, Would have left with the half in paw regardless of its weight. And to as quickly as possible, flee this whole bothersome thread with it. Box or no Box(s).

Meow would rather keep the conversation going more about Cats and Boxes. Totally logical and irrefutable evidence, that two go together well. And such images bring such peace to Humans and Felines alike. Unlike this discussion about the significance of the weight of a silver Kennedy half.

Well the Almanac indicated that the change was made in 1947. So I went to the Law Library of Congress https://www.loc.gov/law/help/statutes-at-large/ found the listing that would cover 1947 which was the 80th Congress. Opened that up which gave me the Chapter headings. Hit Ctrl-F for Find, and searched for coin. That took me fairly quickly to Chapter 104 An Act To amend sections 3533 and 3536 of the Revised Statutes with respect to deviations in standard of ingots and weight of silver coins. Opened the chapter and scrolled down to Chapter 104. Took me longer to find the Law Library website than anything else. (I've bookmarked it now.)

Who ever said they were common? (coins over 12.69 grams) We said that weight was within tolerance and therefore nothing special. In other words a "normal" coin.

So sell it to them, a fool and his money are soon parted. So part it.

 

Sigh, Meow now just wants to poop on that 12.69 gram Kennedy half in the box. And not even cover it over as a protest.

This is complete nonsense. Post documents proving it is authentic, and a verification of said cash offer for the coin, or you are a troll. End of story.

This. Gianni you obviously don't understand at all. No one is happy about this or "singing victory". There is nothing we would like more than for you to have a rare error Kennedy half or a Zerbe Morgan...but you don't have either.
