Does it have the die crack, on top of the shield ? Does it have the die chips in the " T " of LIBERTY ?
I suck at determining single squeeze doubled dies so I I see what you are talking about but when it comes to single squeeze doubling im clueless lol.
Here's some more images of wexler #4 . http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=2012&die_id=2012p1do003&die_state=mds
Ok, now I am up in the air LOL!!! I wonder if it is something different altogether at this point. It seems to match some on each. LOL!
We now have the image for the date on both . Here's coppercoins, or wexler #4 . Here's wexler #6 . Here's your image of the date . See if you can get a image without the UV light, on the date .
My only question is, is that why would it have the die mark of the 004 if it is the 006? When the 006 has no mention of the die mark beside the letter G. When the 004 clearly shows that the die mark in the exact spot that mine is in. Otherwise, I see that mine shows no other signs of other markings on it. That the 004 has. If you look closer, the first number two looks puffy hair like in the 004. On the top photo. Where as the second photo, the first number two does not look as puffy. But yet, the other numbers do not look as puffy as the other numbers on the first photo. Mine does Carry a lot of ware also.
First, that not a real die marker by the " G " Of God ( Coppercoins mention nothing about it ) . Second, if the markers aren't present, then it can't be wexler #4 ( cross-reference coppercoins #3 ) Wexler #6 mention no markers what so ever ( other then another die gouge ) ... Which is what we find on your coin ...
But copper coins does. Check this out. https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=2012&die_id=2012p1do003&die_state=eds
is that a partial profile of John Lennon on the L of liberty? your date looks split plating. liberty does look double die squeezed .. there are so many of these things it's mind boggling unless you spend countless hours going through all of them and make check lists for each and every one. So to me it is a double squeeze .. does it hold additional value?.. probably not because there's a million of them. Might be best to write down a list of valuable double squeeze stuff and search for those and skip the rest. @Rick Stachowski if he isn't too busy with his potted plants.
