1988 D Lincoln on steroids

I have seen many variations on the MM's but wow this one has to be the largest mint mark I have ever seen. I know they can vary in size but the mm is nearly as big as the numerals. Wonder if it has something to do with what appears to be zinc rot. Has anyone else seen the mint mark this large on Lincolns?

Yea I've seen D MM that big. Pretty common actually. I'll look real quick to see if I can find 1 and take a picture for you.

Ok thanks it just stuck out but then again most things do when you work 90 hours in a week lol.

 

I feel like a idiot for even asking about this coin now that I think about it because I have asked the same question in the past about the size of the mint mark of the 88 D. Lack of sleep lol.

im actually well rested tonight I only worked 13 hours and I have a day off tomorrow other than taking the car in for repairs I have a day to myself
