I agree with Chris. It's some sort of residue. Glue, resin, or some other material. Acetone removes most (not all) of this type of stuff. It does not look like a die crack
There is something on the coin. It's not a die crack nor is it a lamination. Given the fact that it's a newer Dime you should try and remove it. It will be a great learning experience. Welcome to CT.
The coin itself is cracked not glue and there is nothing on the coin. The face of it like I said seems like it had 2 faces very weird. Seems like the first layer has peeled of it is raised and when you try to pull up on the raised part it is the coin.... Never seen this before
