Just want to see if this is a confirmed ddo in a 1972 p date it's raised but only in date I know there are 10 forms and only one major
That's not a lot TBH. I have searched close to $20,000 worth. I have made some good finds...But really, they are not that common.
I've looked through more than that that's just over the last month and just a guess found many wheats including some I think could be in MS condition.... Also early years 61 63 68 and 72 all in what I've seen me 64 or better..... Sometimes I think my eyes play tricks on me and the dd and md still has my brain confused.... Lol
And to a point you are correct, the extra part is raised ..but not enough for a 1972 when they hubbed twice with an annealing in between and the two were not perfectly aligned, you got a coin with the doubled part about the same height. Notice here on the 55/55 DDO that where the numbers cross they appear to merge together as they are the same height. Also the 72/72 DDO-001, should have enlarged the overlaps, sorry. Just keep looking at references . Simple words such as doubling can have many degrees and meanings....as well as value differences. Jim
