Some time back I starting posting the sorting of my 70 year accumulation. If you are interested it can be found at https://www.cointalk.com/threads/sorting-my-70-year-accumulation.330231/

We have 6 kids, 13 grandkids and 17 great grandkids with 2 more due this year. I decided to make each one a type set based upon their year of birth. The intent was to give each a coin of each issued in the last hundred years or so. It would include coins 100 to 120 years before they were born. And, it would include the year of birth of their parents, grand parents and great grand parents plus great great grand parents. Silver dimes, silver nickels and other silver will be included. IMG_5644.JPG IMG_5645.JPG IMG_5641.JPG IMG_5642.JPG IMG_5643.JPG I do have a bunch and want them to get some while I am still around to enjoy it. Some pictures of the process are included.

That is the greatest idea I've heard in a long time. What a great way to honor your family linage and leave history and memories for you children, and their children. I hope you will post photos of the sets when you complete them. Pssst, I'm up for adoption. LOL

You forgot to include the 2006 "Return to Monticello" in the Westward Journey nickel series.

Would you mind taking your hat off when you sit down for dinner?

I'd be happy to do that, and usually do anyway. I also hold open doors and address my elders (not many at my age) with sir and ma'am and respect.
On a side note, my dad was born in Texarkana, the Texas side.

Just want to keep things clear if you get adopted. I don't have many elders either.

What an undertaking! Looks like you are getting it together quite nicely. Would you like another child? If so, I'm available. lol

You would have to be in back of @Mountain Man and take your hat off at supper.
