Oh, the back is definitely cool! I'll have to look into those...& only $1! On another subject, when are you guys gonna get an NHL hockey team. They didn't learn anything when we sent Hitchcock up there! Does the Great One ever come to town anymore?
I payed a small premium, total cost, $3. The store is running a special for signing up to their online newsletter that I am very much considering since signing up on instagram... with your first online purchase of $25 dollars or more and receive five 1967 $1 dollar bills free. They don't state what condition they're in but I'm certainly interested. As for, "the great one"... no, #16, Bobby Clarke, born and raised in Flin Flon Manitoba does not come to visit, lol. There was some idle chatter about someone named Wayne something or other but, I don't recall him ever being considered great!
By all means, these designs of the old Canadian $1 and $2 bills are far better than that of what replaced them. However, the $10 bill of the Scenes of Canada series seems very misplaced contrary to the rest of the designs which are all uniquely Canadian.
The Coin Collector’s Handbook never mentioned anything about addictions, lol. I’m now collecting: stamps, postcards, bottle caps, marbles, trading cards, silver spoons, pins... I don’t know if I’ll ever be sane again!
That's a swell picture of Bess! ot: (I've just noticed the changing portraits on the looney and tooney.)
The vinyl was vast at one point but they were abused and the good stuff was sold off a long time ago. No wine corks yet but, now that you mention it...
Not certain if it can be spent, I wouldn’t anyways but, good question. We can still spend our pennies if the retailer chooses to accept is my understanding.
I am not a fan of either coin! A loonie in circulation for a month end ups looking like some do after 100 years, exaggerated but, not by much.
