"Wide AM" is not an attribute for dimes. It's my guess that these two coins were produced on two separate production runs with different strike pressure.

Maybe you should learn more about how coins are made before you start looking for varieties and errors. The only thing that is "lame" here is your knowledge.

rude no need to get all but hurt just get over it if u think it’s a dumb question and I have no knowledge don’t respond. And u can’t tell someone to do research when they are constantly discovering and changing and deciding what will actually count as a error . And researched . Thanks

Chris told you the truth. He actually gave you a great answer. Calling his help "Lame" was wrong.

So, "Stooge" posted his comments where (?) and this is supposed to mean that it is "A fact, Jack!". Worse yet, the fool borrowed the photos from different FleaBay listings which were probably taken with different cameras & cell phones which further exaggerated the images. You should leave here and subscribe immediately to BoobTube. It suits you.

There! Is that rude enough for your thin skinned, lame remark?

Imho it does sound as though "lame" was said in disappointment, not as an insult. This is a common use of it, I hear people say it/say it myself with that meaning alot.

Now, tell me how many definitions you can think up for that comment on your "smart" phone using two thumbs, and don't tell me it's your phone's fault for your lack of education.

That's the problem with so many people, today. They can't even be honest with themselves. So, you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar, but instead of admitting it, you make up a lie like, "I found the cookie jar with the lid off, and I just put my hand inside to make sure that a mouse didn't crawl into it."

Quit acting like a spoiled brat and grow up! If you want to learn, there are people from all aspects of numismatics who are willing to help, but if you want to whine like an entitled child, then you should find another place.

It is in fact a synonym for disappointing. I think different generations and even people in different places use words quite differently often... To me this is a really common use of the word, to others it may not be. When I moved to Pittsburgh i experienced this alot lol. some of the words they use here is so funny to me/can be misunderstood easily, still.

I don't buy it either. But anything used locally doesn't track well in other parts of the country. What was needed was some explanation or more commentary to explain the context, which is always important. Don't expect everyone to understand local usage.

I joined coin talk to find out answers about things I did not know about. I am finding out that some members don't answer your questions but just want to tell you to get more knowledge well isn't that why we are on this website please some of you need to find another way to vent your your comments lets all be nice and helpful because aren't we suppose one big family. And by the way I never knew about that on dimes just pennies because there is no listing on value for dimes with AM's.

Your post was insulting and you can say anything you wish to crawl out of that hole but that does not change what you said. You received a kind and honest answer and got ticked off. You can't twist that into anything else.

I hope you will take the time to be honest and understand the truth. Please don't get mad at those here that are trying to help you understand the coins you post.
    That's what we do here.

The problem is some people come here without doing even basic research. It doesn't take much to do a basic search for information before coming here to seek verification. But even then, there are those who would prefer to believe their YouTube knowledge over that of the many experts here.
