Well, I've seen several of the coins & questions you posted (the clipped dime is nice), so I'm going to respond to all of them on this thread.

When you ask about grading, which, although there are very specific guidelines, is still a very subjective matter, it is difficult doing by pics alone - the most accurate way is "in hand". This is why many of us here do not give assessments over the web. If you have seen any of the "guess the grade" (GTG) threads on this site, you will see that there can be quite a wide difference in opinions, even to the extent of XF to AU to MS for the same coin!

And then you're asking what they will go for at auction. None of us have a "crystal ball" to see the future, but we do have a rear view mirror. That means there are auction results you can find at such places as eBay, Heritage, & other coin auction houses, which will give you an idea of what recent sales went for & judge by that. With auctions it's totally dependent on who is watching at the right time, who wants it most, how many bidders there are, etc,...you get the idea.

You may get some additional responses to your posts & sometimes it's hard to discern fact from fiction.

Continued good luck in your coin endeavors!

What do you think it will grade at and what are realized auction prices for your suspected grade?

    Mint state, worth not much.

  6. Try your luck on Ebay. I think you couldn't get less than 20 bucks if it is above a 63.
It all depends on the condition of each MS. The price goes up significantly if the coin is at a 66 or 67. Either way it is a great coin. Better pics and closeups of every angle would help too.

You could also go to photo grade and see if it is worth marking up an BU or higher if you can. Also I would make sure it isn't cleaned. Here are some helpful links to get you started:

Grade it for yourself on PhotoGrade and I'm interested in your results!
