This is a coin from the indian region. It is tiny, at exactly 10mm diameter. The flower pattern reminds me of sikh coinage as they are fond of putting leaves and petals in their coins. but im still not sure, the reverse also baffles me. any idea about its true identity?
This is an AE fals issued under the Habbarid Amirs of Sind. It is in a very nice condition for these !
jee thanks!! is there any literary reference onnthe internet to this coin? id like to know what the reverse means.
These small coins from Sind and Multan have only recently been cataloged by Fishman and Todd. Don't think there is much backround info to been found online.
That's a cool little coin @Muhammad Niazi ! I have a little Amirs of Sind coin as well! Amirs of Sindh, 10th century AD, 10 mm, 0.7g.
Very cool coins. I just want to point ancientnoob @Ancientnoob to these recent Indian region coin threads by Mr. Niazi.
