I must have been given some misinformation, apologise. To much garbage to filter through online anymore. Thanks for clarifying my mistake, I don't want to mislead anyone .

Walter I am just going by my price guide. It is possible that those coins in MS went for that price but I am showing 82 SD copper at .50 and 82 SD zinc at .80. Plus, the higher the grade, etc. So I am sure some MS 67 or 68 went for a lot of money. I think my prices are for the MS 65.

Damaged and worthless 1972-D with verdigris, and the wrong thread.

If he means MS 68 and 69 then he is right. If he means the dates 1968 and 1969 then no.

I have no idea what this means. It has nothing to do with my statement that you quoted.

There is a broad spectrum of folks around here. One thing that is always helpful is rotating your photos.
    Always crop them.
    That might need a soak.

Yes it is a decent coin, but it has nothing to do with the topic of the thread, 1982 cents.

I have a roll of uncirculated 1982-p copper small date pennies. I know these can hold a high value if they are rated highly. Any pointers on how to go about getting a hold of someone to rate them or verify them? I have not opened the roll at all, but from what I can see from the two exposed pennies on the ends, they look really good.
