Misaligned seals on $1 bills

Is there any significance when the two seals on the front of the bill are misaligned or just a little off? I have a dollar bill with the Department of the Treasury seal about 3/16 of an inch lower that I normally see it. Nothing else about the bill is unique. Also, on the back of the bill where the plate number is below the e in one, is that number significant at all? If the bill had a number 1 there, would that matter. Thank you in advance appreciate it

Listen, if I could post a picture I would. That is why I explained it the way I did. I'm not looking for somebody to go in great detail and explain how wonderful this bill is. Just a little Basics about the number on the backside and if there is any significance at all... below the e and what I said about the front. When I get established a little better, I'll post multiple pictures.

The back plate number would rarely be significant. I've seen many notes with plate number 1- that doesn't make the note more valuable. There are sometimes inconsistencies between series dates and back plate numbers, and this is known as a "mule". However, I doubt that your note is one of these.

About the seal, it's difficult to determine how dramatic the shift is without seeing it, but, a minor shift would probably not be significant. [IMG]
This is what you would have to look for in terms of seal shifts.

It appears as though the serial number (green overlay) was misaligned. Nice find

So many things can happen with paper money. Without a photo it's impossible to say. Since you can't post photos can you take the bill to your local LCS?

The note isn’t OP’s. It’s just an example I found online.
