Got this in change the other day but forgot too post it, i was wondering about its grade and value? and what the mark on Lincoln might be. I think this is one of the nicer ones i have pulled from circ. the pics dont do it any justice as too the luster of this coin, and there is a fair bit of toning in her :) (blue in the middle with red around the edges)

Nice coin, I'll say XF on it. Looks like a lamination of some sort on the obverse, or a cracked planchet? Nice find. :thumb:

As for the crack, i have determined under binoculars, that the line is raised, if that says anything.

Go grab a pair of binoculars if you have them flip them around so you are looking thru the opposite end, and look into them up close too something :kewl:

    (It's a cheap alternative too a loupe) :D

you can get as close as you can before the light source is covered by the edge of the lens, usually around 1/2" And let me tell you, it shows ALOT more detail!

my last roll search was with 2 boxes of Lincs and all i found was 42 wheats mostly 40's and 50's i think there was a 1918 in there as the earliest date.
