amazing stuff. i wanted to start the ny collection when i lived there. i am glad i didnt and i am even more glad that i get to see them
Spock1... Really?? I thought I was the only NUT on the block!! LOL No kidding...why don't you? Is it ever a challenge! Even though it has some of the largest printings of all the Banks...it is tough to find some notes and many are big $$$$.. Come on in the water is fine!! RickieB
well i have about 5 diff coins and notes thingy going on at present, india coins and notes, world polymers, random world, before the euro (completed) for both coins and notes nd then of course my american coins, and world gold so i thought its best to be a little wise and stay clear for now still buy all the stuff from the BEP and the mint on top of that (modern comems too) on top of it i got an idea to start a chicago slection similar to your new your collection just this morning needless to say i deleted that idea too. it would be crazy but I could always include some notes under my random world (secretly)

yes i had a lot of storage problems earlier this year so i invested some $$$ to get everything back in order but looks like i will have to do it all over again this year. I always say patience is they key but when you got a whole world of coins and notes it will break the bank no matter how patient you are
2 more holes filled today!! Well I found 2 more NY notes hiding from me today... Have started working on the more common...nothing to show really except these simple additions that will make the collection complete (on day)! RickieB

Hahaha...been trying to get the harder notes out of the way..anytime I see a Star I try to pick it up. There are lot's of holes as I am trying for every NY note from $1 thru $500 from 1928 to present as well as other select Large size, Legal Tenders, Silver Certs(Large) Nationals and a few Golds....Huge goal!! any particular reason you are leaving 1000 through 10000? that was always one of the small golas for my currency collection to get a $500, 1000, 5000, and 10000 anytime you see them in CU that you do not want and you think the price is right let me know
well i see lol but i would rather get a $500 and a $1000 CU at the right price ASAP so if you come across any let me know :hug: i wonder what my teller will think if i tell her i am looking for $500 or $ 1000 notes?
more likely than not it will be a call placed to the local hospital that a crazy man has come to the bank. i dont think anyoone outside of my family has ever given me any kind of a flower
