My boss gave this to me,and I have no idea what it is. It's roughly the size of a dime. Any information is appreciated!

 

That looks like a golf ball marker. Check to see if it is magnetic.

He said he got it from pocket change. Looking at golf ball markers it looks right. I do appreciate the help. I never would of thought of that.

 

The reason I ask is most ball markers are magnetic and are part of a divot repair tool that has a set of prongs to fix marks on the green and a little magnetic to hold the ball marker when not in use on the green.

One side is usually non-descript and flat and the other has a design of some sort, such as yours, that could related to a company logo or golf course logo.

What's a picker's token? I never saw that term until just the other day.

 

People work picking fruit or berries and for each tray or basket they pick and hand over, they get a token. I assume these tokens can be turned in at the end of the work day for cash money. Here is a strawberry pickers token. I forget the whole story about it.

 

There are two sub types at least more common ones shuckers tokens dealing with oyster shucking, And packing tokens from back in the cannery days. From way back in the wood burning train engines days they hard cord tokens from the RR that the wood cutters wood keep their tallies to get paid
