An installation error up side down earlobe. The remaining first hub remnants are still visible on the bottom left. The rounded end which is supposed to be the bottom is meeting the upper ear, and the crescent half that is supposed to meet the upper ear is exposed as the round bottom of the earlobe.
As long as an earlobe does not have the correct rounded end at the bottom. EVERYBODY IS WRONG? You agree that you’ll be the one who must go on fighting that battle, not me.... I say it’s screwed up.
I also know this websites long history of making someone talk from the back to the front by way of bringing up erroneous points, then trying to capitalize on how that makes someone seem
Even with up close I don't see what your talking about, You see doubled on every coin, I see no evidence, how and why are you trying to convince other people that there are errors. if you see them fine, but I don't. your sitting on a gold mine with your 25$ of 1959 cents, good luck. if a TPG backs up half of what you found your in good shape.
J Well, whether I think it’s doubled doesn’t matter here. What is the most prominent fact of the situation is the proving of there is NO OTHER process in a reinstalled earlobe.
"Charlie" was lost on the MTA "And he never returned, no he never returned and his fate is still unlearned"... maybe we finally found him. ( Kingston Trio ) "That you Charlie"?
How does the mint reinstall an ear? Do by any chance you mean re-engrave the ear? How did his nostrils on the same level and approximately the same level not need to be re-engraved ( installed) ? There is no history of a distorted Lincoln bust on a coin, the dimensions were set. Evidently you have a gripe with some grader or 'expert' who did not agree with you about the 1959 and the S you see as a modification remains of a series VII DD. It looks like pareidolia effect. I see the area you talk about, but there is no visible evidence in my mind that removal and smoothing was done by the mint, It looks like other small areas of the coin. Did someone sell you a mess of them and told you they could be resold for $$$$ ? Send one to PCGS or NGC , or even to another such that might give you an opinion. Seriously a lot of people have said no, and no one has said yes, so get an opinion you would accept. Best wishes, Jim
Hey, ya know, that’s the wonder of it all. When those things are in those places to be those methods for order by the US Mint.... and we still find things like this.... and isn’t that why we’re all here? Why would there be a brockage? Why would there be a different reverse mule?
